People in America are free to be what they can be without fear of punishment. In other nations, individual liberty and ownership of private property are rare. Individual liberty is a threat to Old World dictatorships. The American liberal, in control of government, media, entertainment and education, is hostile to our Declaration of Independence and governments rising from it. They believe, without their expert guidance, individuals are incapable of running their own lives and the affairs of community, and prefer the rule of the few over the many in the tradition of the Old World. American conservatives believe individual liberty and rule of law should prevail. The meaningless terms used to describe each side only confuses the issue, and this book seeks to shed light on the truth of what is America.
